I am in my late 20’s and this set of History of Whoo was something I bought a little while back. History of Whoo has a lot of different sets and this one is in its Soo Vital line – it’s probably called Gongjinhyang Soo Yeon Hydrating Set.
First, let’s talk about me. I have mixed skin type, dry, and occasionally I have allergies. I have a lot of friends who recommend Whoo products before. After researching, I decided to start with the most basic Soo Vital series.

The set I got has:
- Gongjinhyang Soo Yeon Hydrating Balancer
- Bichup First Care Moisture Anti-Aging Essence
- Gongjinhyang Soo Vital Hydrating Emulsion
- Gongjinhyang Soo Yeon Super Hydrating Gel Cream
- Gongjinhyang Soo Yeon Hydrating Overnight Mask
- Gongjinhyang Soo Yeon Jin Cream
I clean my face and starting applying the products in the set. I can feel each one getting absorbed easily.
Out of all of these, the essence/serum is excellent. Unlike many other essence, it doesn’t feel greasy, It’s hydrating and I feel it has small particles inside. Gently massage this into the face, and it carries a faint fragrance.
All day long, I can feel that my face does not get dry. It means the products have done a good job moisturizing. This hydrating set is true to its name!! Again it is not greasy, and super moisturizing. It can calm down your skin really well. I find it can repair acne or sensitive skin as well. It is especially good for people who have a hard time keeping their make up on due to lack of moisture or having oily skin.
By the way, the whole set smells very lovely, fresh, and natural. After applying them, there’s a shine to my face and it gets absorbed really easily.
After applying the different products in order, I can visibly see my skin gaining translucency. My pores seem to open up and breathe better. I also don’t have the feeling that I applied multiple layers of products. Overall it’s very comfortable.
