The Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream is marketed as an ultra-light hydrating gel cream for oily and combination skin. Dr. Jart is one of the most popular K-Beauty brands in the U.S. This is one of their newer releases and an addition to the revamped Cicapair line!
It is targeted at skincare concerns including dryness and redness. It has Centella Asiatic (tiger grass) to soothe sensitivity as well. It provides lightweight hydration and moisture to irritated or sensitive skin.

The texture of this product is a very thin, spreadable gel. It is a pale green color as shown on this cute bag! This bag is from the Cica Rescue Kit. Cica is another name for tiger grass!
🍃MY HONEST OPINION🍃
I wanted to try this because I had first tried the Color Correcting Treatment from this brand, and I thought it was way too thick on my skin, but I loved the idea of tiger grass in skincare. So I tried out this gel cream out and LOVED IT! I’ve been using this for about 6 months.
I love this product and always reach for it when my skin feels super sensitive. It allows my skin to breathe while helping to soothe it. This is great for AM and PM use for my skin. I prefer this thin texture to the original Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream.
I would definitely recommend this to others who struggle with irritated or sensitive skin. It helps calm redness on the skin, and it smells super refreshing but light. I’m so happy that I have minis to travel with!!
It retails for $48 for 50 mL of product which I think is worth the price, but I also think that it is expensive for a more niche moisturizer that I don’t use daily. I just use this when my skin is in need of extra soothing rather than my everyday moisturizer. As far as time/effort, it applies like any other cream so it is quick and easy. It layers really nice over serums and under an oil if you want!
I give this a 4/5 ⭐️ rating. I love everything about this gel cream, besides the price, and I wish that Dr. Jart was a cruelty-free skincare brand.
