Gentle Am routine

Alright, so this is my routine in the morning. Didn’t change it for winter weather yet and I don’t know if I will honestly. My morning routine contains a few actives but mostly trying to take care of my dehydrated combination skin.

I only rinse my face with lukewarm water in the morning except if I “slugged” the night before. I will use Sioris – Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser as this is my current pm second cleanser. 🥛

Like my pm routine, I use both a first essence and a toner. My favorite steps even if they’re not 🌈 essentials 🌈 .

In the am I use NEOGENLAB – Real Rerment Micro Essence (thx james welsh) and I have to say I love it. My skin drinks it right up and automatically calms any tightness I might feel on my skin. I then follow with I’m from – Rice Toner (again, james). I love that it contains niacinamide as I don’t like using it in high amounts (like in a serum) it’s also quite moisturizing for my combination skin. Really makes your skin glow. 🍚

I will then alternate the use of The Ordinary – Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% and PAULA’S CHOICE – 10% Azelaic Acid Booster as my actives.

On days I use the Vit C, I will use right after the toner and will follow with The Ordinary – Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG . The caffeine solution was really working the first months but now my under eye doesn’t seem to react as much to it… will probably not buy it again but the bottle lasts ages so I will finish it. ☕️

For the ascorbyl solution, it’s a really nice and gentle option. Will switch to straight L ascorbic acid serum when the ascorbyl is done though 🙂 🍋

If I use the azelaic acid, I will skip the vit C and apply the caffeine solution straight after toner.

I will then put on the VERSED – DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream which is a super nice soothing gel moisturizer with a really impressive ingredient list for a drugstore product. I will THEN apply the azelaic acid over it to prevent any irritation. 🌿

I will end the routine with the famous PURITO – Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+. Do I really need to explain how awesome this product is? 🌞
