If you don’t apply eye cream correctly, you can be making things worse

As you get older, you realize that anti-aging skincare and eye creams are crucial. Many people use an eye cream, but do you know how to use it correctly? A lot of people don’t pay attention to the simple habits that cause wrinkles when they apply their eye creams. Expensive eye creams aren’t very effective if you don’t use them correctly. It is important to find a good eye cream and use it properly to make it work for you.

Today I am going to share some tips on how I apply eye cream.

  • First, use the tip of your finger and gently pat around the eyes as a pre-warming exercise.
  • Then apply the eye cream from the outer corner of your eye to your eyebrows and gently massage.
  • Then lightly pat your eyelids and help the product absorb into your skin.
  • Next, pull in the skin on your temples with your middle and ring fingers. Then use your thumb and ring finger to gently pull up from the corners of your eyes to prevent drooping.
  • And finally, use your ring finger to apply pressure from the corners of your eyes to your temples, then press in from one side of your neck to the other, to promote lymphatic drainage.

That’s it.  These are the complete eye-care steps I do each time I put on eye cream.

It may look complicated, but if you want to look beautiful, it’s worth putting in the time for an eye-care routine. Don’t just apply your night cream and call it a day. You must also keep massaging your skin around the eyes and apply extra cream afterward.

In addition to the proper application of eye cream, choosing the correct eye cream is also extremely important. You all gorgeous should choose an eye cream with a texture that’s relatively smooth and light so that the cream is easy to spread and absorb fast.

Of course, the ingredients in the cream are also very important. Specific eye creams may target specific issues such as dark circles, fine lines, puffiness, and so on.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Eye Cream

For a while, I’ve been reading lots of Mario Badescu Glycolic Eye Cream reviews.  The majority of them had lots of good things to say about it.  I finally bought it about a month ago from Amazon.  Just like I said earlier, I would pat a small amount of this cream around and under-eye area using my ring finger.  So far I feel really good about this after one month.

I love this eye cream. It makes my eyes look younger and has reduced the appearance of wrinkles. It’s affordable and works really well. I like that it absorbs quickly, too.

I have been using this eye cream for slightly over a month now. It’s great because it has glycolic acid, which has been helping me reduce dark circles. Plus, it has helped to eliminate the puffiness below my eyes.

It also softens some of the fine lines I had, and I love how it’s smoothed out the color under my eye.

I like to use two layers of it at night — after I’ve washed my face and put on my serum — before I put on my moisturizer.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Eye Cream vs Hyaluronic eye cream

I saw that Mario Badescu also has a hyaluronic eye cream.  I see some very good reviews on that as well. The Glycolic Eye Cream is meant to work on signs of aging and that’s what drew my attention first.  Although according to Mario Badescu, their Hyaluronic eye cream is their most popular and holy grail that’s also good for anti-aging.

So after I empty the Glycolic Eye Cream that I am using, I will likely give the Hyaluronic one a try.  Then I can give you guys a comparison between the two.

I think many of you are wondering if you are too young to start using an eye cream.  And the answer is the earlier you start the better.  An eye cream can be used as a preventative measure at first, as you don’t want to wait till wrinkles show up before you address them.
