GLOW RECIPE – Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask

Glow Recipe didn’t impress me much when I tried a handful of products a couple of months ago, but I’m not giving up! Their Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask seemed to be well-loved so I was hopeful that this would be the product to win me over. Did it do the trick?!

My thoughts:

✨ I like a thick eye cream (like my fav One Love Vitamin E Eye Balm), so this product was already looking good. This one is meant to be slathered on at night, acting as a rich mask-like cream that provides intense hydration.

✨ This cream features encapsulated retinol, aiming to even skin tone and repair damage. Being encapsulated means it will sit on the surface of your skin longer and release over time, gently doing its job overnight.

✨ Avocado is dense in vitamins E and C which are proven to fight wrinkles and environmental damage. These are imperative ingredients when it comes to anti-aging and repairing incurred damage that holds your skin back from looking its best.

✨ After a few uses, I started to see my under-eye area brighten up. I have a tried and true eye balm that I’ll stick by forever, but I think I’ll be reaching for this one when I need some heavier hydration in the coming winter months.

Glow Recipe didn’t let me down – FINALLY! I’m excited to have found a product from their collection that agrees with my skin and does what it says it will. And here I was thinking GR might be a lost cause in my cabinet…😅

Have you experimented with introducing retinol yet? Any tips for an anti-aging beginner like me?
