My brow pomade collection 💜 + Reviews

I was going to wait until tomorrow to make this post but I couldn’t wait. As you can probably tell I went through my brow collection with making content today. Brow pomades are something I used to use pretty regularly but I’ve slowly switched to using powders.

My favorite brow pomade in my collection is actually the COLOURPOP – Precision Brow Colour (which I just found out right now that it was discontinued 😭) . My issue with pomades (which I’ll get to more with ABH) is they tend to dry out quickly on me so I wanted something more creamy to work with. That’s how this was. It was a beautiful creamy formula that stayed put pretty well on the brows. I never had to worry about the product drying up on me. I think I had the shade Dark Brown.

My least favorite in my collection is the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills – Dipbrow Pomade (which the more I’m taking the time to talk about ABH the more I realize I don’t like their brow products…) My issue with this is you get one good use out of the top layer and then it dries out on you. The first time you use it it looks beautiful on the brows and stays put pretty well but as you can see in my video the spots where I dipped into the product would just dry/cake up and be really hard to use. Honestly, I’m probably going to throw these out after this video.

The most fun one I have is the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY – Super Pomade Vegan Eyeliner, Shadow & Brow Pigment which for the most part I really like! The formula has more of a slip compared to the ABH or Colourpop which I find a little hard to use. Granted the color is very opaque and you do get that bright purple even over my dark eyebrows without having to glob on product. I just have a hard time drawing lines with how extremely creamy it is. I definitely think these are worth checking out if you want a bright color for your brows for the opacity and longevity of the product.

I’ve also used benefit – Ka-Brow! Cream-Gel Eyebrow Color with Brush in the past (I don’t currently have one in my collection) and I find it the most similar to the Colourpop when it comes to consistency! It’s creamy but not too much slip. Opaque and stays very well on the brows. If I were to purchase a pomade in the future it would probably be this one. I think the only issue I have with it is it can be hard to scrape out the pomade as you get further down into the jar.
